Bar Signs 2

The bar on Main Street has another confusing sign.  It reads "Friends Don't Let Friends Drink and Bring Home Ugly Men".  What does that mean?  By ugly do they mean abusive or physically unattractive?  Can they please be more specific?  It would help me understand what they're talking about.
